How can I get involved with the Forum Jeunesse Afro-Québécois?

There are several ways to get involved! You can participate in activities, become a volunteer, become a mentor or even propose a workshop or join the consultation committees. The QFOJA also offers engagement opportunities throughout the year through events, projects and collaborations. To become a volunteer or mentor, you can fill out the form on the site.

To become a member or partner, simply contact us via our website or social networks. We will be happy to discuss the possibilities of collaboration according to your: young person, organization, company, or institution.

Yes, of course! The FJAQ is a space to make your voice heard. If you have an idea for a workshop, discussion or activity, you can contact us at info@forumjeunesseafroquebecois.org

No, participation in QFOK activities is free ! We believe in accessibility for everyone. Registration is however mandatory to secure your spot.

The FJAQ is open to all, with as its main target young people aged 15 to 35 years old of African descent. That said, all interested persons are welcome!

The QJAF highlights the experiences and perspectives of young Afro-Quebecers, but it is open to everyone, regardless of origin. It is a space for inclusion, dialogue and collective learning.

Yes! Training, practical workshops and personal and professional development sessions are offered through the various activities of the QFOH. It’s an opportunity to learn, equip yourself and network.
Yes! You can get involved as a volunteer for the organization or animation of the Forum. We also develop mentoring initiatives to support young people in their personal, academic or professional journey.
Absolutely. You can participate in the activities of the FJAQ which can import your migratory status or citizenship. However, due to funding requirements, some projects have requirements only for permanent residents, Canadian citizens and persons who have obtained refugee status, this is particularly the case for the IEL Project.
Yes. Unless there are special requirements for our projects, all people are welcome to participate in the various activities of the FJAQ.
