4th edition of the Forum Jeunesse afro-québécois (FJAQ), organized by the organization of the same name, took place on May 6, 2017 at Laval University, under the patronage of the Lieutenant-Governor of Quebec the Honourable Michel Doyon.

" Beyond prejudice
A Forum
Mix of conferences and workshops during which participants were able to exchange and make recommendations related to the social, economic (entrepreneurial and professional) and citizen integration of Afro-descendants in the province of Quebec.
A Fair-Exhibition
Aiming to promote entrepreneurial initiatives of young people from the Afro-descendant community of Quebec City. This fair brought together about twenty entrepreneurs at Laval University.
A Charity Gala
To conclude the day on a festive note, salute the talents of the young people of the community through an award ceremony and also raise funds for another community organization.
